At Least Once Today

Everyday Jesus fills my spirit just in the knowing of His Name
While many don't seem to hear it or so at least they will claim
But never had I one doubt all the way back to my beginning
For His Word has always had all the clout even in times of sinning

But as I continue walking along and in listening to what He said
Then the more I began to long to be one of those that He had led
And in reflecting upon His Amazing Story in every single Word He said
I can truly see His Heavenly Glory and as for my soul He died instead

Such anguish does His suffering bring as my soul cries out in agony
For oh how my love for Him does sing The Savior who set me free
Up on that heavy wooden cross His Whole Body beaten and bloody
Oh how you too will feel that lose in the saying of "He did that for me"

Jesus did that for all of mankind taking all the blame for Our transgressions
Oh no greater love shall you ever find in becoming aware of all His blessings
And so lovingly does He call out Your name often carrying you upon Your way
Oh how it would be such a shame if you didn't call back to Him at least once today
