At Least It Was Something
Our daughter, the professional epidemiologist
(Someone who studies things like diseases and pandemics)
came by today and social distanced with us.
No hugs
No touches
No pats
She refused to come into our house
Explaining she had been too many places
We would lose all ground we had gained
Staying home
Seeing no people
Going nowhere since March 12th, and it is June 7th!
So we sat outside and conversed
As long as we could stand the humidity
And heat that is ours to deal with on a 97 degree day
Being air conditioning magnets,
This was not long
But it was something.
