Last Christmas, we were out of town and all our seasonal items stayed packed away. I have no reason this year to do so. It has been nice bringing them back into the open. One year, my adult son gave us a cute ornament, a favorite, highlighted in this poem.

At Home for Christmas

Fake pine, unfolding bagged branches,
           expressive string of lights attached.
All ornaments unwrapped, three spaced
             mid-tree, Ricky & Lucy - foremost.
Resound of the season - reason
      the celebrants take time for fair Christ.

Sounds like you're well into the spirit of Christmas Kim Sad that so many don't really know the true meaning of Christmas. Merry Christmas Kim. Tom

Sad how many don’t know Jesus and what He did to save mankind. Trying to keep stress low and enjoy the season. Cards may or may not be sent…we will see. Pondering what is best in our savior’s eyes…surely love and giving. Merry Christmas!

I find Christmas too commercialized. I prefer Easter.

I don’t like that part but the way the streets light up, and how much greater when they celebrate the true reason - Jesus Christ! It makes me smile! Hugs-a-million! Merry Christmas, my friend!
