At First Sight
When I first saw you ,you took my breath away
Yea I know it sounds like such a cliché
But I know I will never forget that day
You were sitting in a chair in a corner
I began to ponder
Will I ever have a chance with him? I wonder?
I know I'm not your ideal type of girl
And there's plenty in this world
But maybe you can give us a whirl?
Yea I know I'm living in a fantasy
For you to have a chance with me
I know there's no guarantee.
My friends tell me to move on
But I don't want to go along
With the idea that they could be wrong.
You could be just as shy as me
You could be the guy for me
So thats just what I'm trying to see.
I'll continue to wait patiently
For the day you notice me
I pray to God he'll make a way for me
