At First Glance
The first time I saw you
I knew you’d be the one
I could tell you were the prize
And that I had won
Your smile was contagious
Your smile made me weak
This was definitely love at first sight
At its ultimate peak
I know this sounds silly
I know it’s surreal
But this was your doing
It’s how you made me feel
But then I saw you for you
An immature little boy
My perfect vision of you
Did you surely destroy
But I’ll keep in my heart
That very first glance
It will forever hurt me
That we didn't have a chance
