At a Young Age
In the middle of the turmoil,
with the heartache, and the pain.
Dealing with such tragedy,
at a young age, inside their brain.
Learning first hand, about growing up,
when in reality, they should stay a kid.
In all cases, becoming the parent,
having to do, what they haven't did.
So out the door, is the protection,
and in comes, the discovery, their left to face.
The world, isn't sugar and spice, instead
the world, leaves a bitter taste.
