Assurance of Optimism
P-ositive thinking in early morn
R-efreshes the heart and mind;
E-vil thoughts are forgotten,
M-elting them far behind.
E-ach and every coming year
S-econd dawn in November;
T-ime of joyful celebration
R-eturns for you to remember.
A-s you reminisce the hour,
D-ay and year you were born;
A-ssurance of optimism wipes away the bushes and thorn.
