Asleep At the Wheel
While mating, the male often falls asleep at the wheel,
still gripping the female tight,
and there he may sleep for the rest of the day,
and possibly into the night,
but more often than none, he doesn't sleep very long.
The female wakes him with a well placed bite.
This behaviour occurs often between every coupled pair,
during the mating season of the grizzly bear.
