Ask Directions

With life's challenges before me,
I stop to say a prayer,
Because my Lord is concerned
In my problems, He really cares.

I ask Him to direct my actions,
Lead me to whom to speak,
I pray His Spirit prepares the way,
And the results are what I seek.

We all touch other's lives,
Building up or tearing down,
Some accept life with a smile,
Others reject it with a frown.

Lord, your will be done,
For I trust you'll know what's best,
I'll stop and ask directions,
Then my challenges will be blessed.
