Ashford

The red and the blue have faded to black,
It's later than late and I'd love to go back
To the place that I left, full of light and love-sure,
But I can't, for I wait for the train to your door.

Looking back I tend to see only the light and delightful. Going back I'd experience the worries and pains that occurred. Looking forward seems much more hopeful. My train keeps moving, it seems, but never on my schedule. It's brought me here to your door. Thanks Annie.
