Ashe's In the Wind

Sun rises in the east
and on it repeats.

Sets in the west
without pretext.

Within strands of life
served cold, or delight.

Love, war, and strain
no need to explain.

Young, strong, yet bold
worn, weak, aged old.

Through time's twisting churn
we are destined to return.

From where we began
so shall we end.

As Ashes,
In the wind.

There's a mystical allure to the impersonal truth of nature. Learning that I matter not at all yet am critical to existence was horrifying before it freed me. It's becoming the depersonalization of nature that is my goal (in my very limited, humble opinion)... nicely written!!
