Ashamed

"Ashamed"
Whether or not there really was a 'Big Bang'
Across a wide spectrum and range
If there is other lifeforms, it's been difficult to ascertain
To put it plain
Dang
I'm ashamed
Money going down the drain
By products involved with butane
Or cellophane
I was able to display some restrain
And maintain
Then I partook in from what I was trying to stray
Thought I didn't, but once again lost my way
Just was not my day
What was financial gains
Quickly had little to show or say
Started feeling like, I was going insane
Because of partaking in the same
Cycle and chain
Was being weak and not really using my brain
To be honest, it is lame
Not a game
Struggles I thought I overcame
Followed by torment and strain
Only myself to blame
Not really taking full control of the reigns
In a beautiful world, where people can be strange
Showing hatred and rage
Involved in twisted games
Across many different terrains
Amid sunshine, snow, rain
And the shade
I was far too vain
I know I've changed
Near and far from ocean waves
And caves
with or without stones like jade
Beginning to age
Whether you're in or out of a cage
As well as the picture frame
Pitiful that people continue to aim
To claim
Lives for their god or in their own name
I refuse to complain
Despite all the heartache and pain
I am humane
I'm not afraid
Just out to stake my claim
Until the grave
Everything experiences wear and tear
Beginning to age
During any phase or stage
Towards you, my feelings remain
It's all good, if you don't feel the same
Still looking for my main
Dang
I'm ashamed
