As You Cross the River
F-rom the steep mountain,
R-iver is next to cross;
A-lthough it's difficult,
N-o way you'll be at a loss.
K-ind weather has turned
I-nto a rugged wind;
E-arly thirtieth of May, your faith and hope don't end.
P-ouring rain in torrents
I-s causing a flood of water;
G-od will keep you safe,
A-s you cross the
R-iver.
