As Years Pass By
As years pass by
Growing up fast year after year,
Shine the pearls of my eyes,
But for funny face in mirror,
Smile comes at a price.
Watching squirrels hopp and pass by,
While endless anxious wait,
Running after him to ask why,
Now stick syncs with my gait,
Swinging trees from my window seen,
Breeze that brings his essence,
As time flies, memories umpteen,
Trick me on his presence,
Drizzling drops to the soul that soothe,
And make hearts go crazy,
Sizzling weather in gala mood,
I keep sitting lazy,
Moonlit nights and morning dewdrops,
Ah those silent crushes,
While pulse occasionally drops,
Now I have hot flushes,
Growing up fast year after year,
Shine the pearls of my eyes,
But for funny face in mirror,
Smile comes at a price.
