As Years Go By

In your 20’s you are fearless,
In your 30’s you’re divine,
In your 40’s you are ruthless,
But, start feeling the decline.
In your 50’s you start questioning
All the years you‘ve left behind.
In your 60’s you feel grateful,
For waking up each day.
In your 70’s it becomes surreal,
As your memory decades.
And this is why age stops right here
It’s merely my advice,
For those who go beyond their 80’s
Should just be happy they're alive.
