As Winds Blow

The wind is blowing the clouds away
The sun’s peaking its head out
Rain is somewhere to stop it
Close by, I can smell it in the air.
Birds are still flying, up so high
In the clouds that the winds blowing.
Off in the distance I can see
Clouds are letting in the rain
The wind carries in a storm
Making the sun go far away.
Seeing the wind blow clouds my way
As leaves turn up and welcome the rain
Coming this way to me today.
The trees and leaves call it by name
As wind carries in the needed rain.
