As Twilight Settles In
The solar lights glow pink and white
as twilight settles in.
Pink and mauve, the darkening sky,
nature's painting does begin.
Late evening the visitors arrive
to dine on berries and leaves.
Two fawns and their mother standing close
looking guilty as three theives.
A summer evening such as this
is true beauty beyond compare.
So it must be enjoyed, each minute of it,
such perfection is something rare.
