As Time Slowly Passes By
As time slowly passes by
I still wipe tears from my eye
My heart still aches from the pain
Still yearning to feel your touch
To kiss your soft loving lips
As time slowly passes by
Feeling lonely all the time
Happiness taken out of my life
Grief zapping all of my energy
Trying to survive one day at a time
As time slowly passes by
Looking ahead to the day
When we are reunited
Since you had to die
Someday I must also
