As The Last Petal Falls

I am the last petal on a rose and I hold on tight so my owner will be pleased and carry on with her delight My other petals are now gone all fallen from above the stem it was so sad to see them go reaching their bitter end But I hold strong encouraged by Glenn Hughes songs of love and laughter and pure happiness it is where I do belong Oh no, my base is weakening I'm falling, losing breath it was a joyous run but now I have my death

Dear Robert, What a most strong flower youv described here; in the form of personification! Flows very well too: the opening especially speaks volumes of emotions and how one holds on firm and strong to please their owner: i love the ending too! So deep and poignant! Its ok sometimes we write for the pleasure of it: not to please. Well delivered. Sending you light always
