As Summer Ends

As summer ends
      leaves wave goodbye
the sensual greens of sage and jade
prepare a winter’s rest

As summer ends
      breeze seems to sigh
as verdant lush begins to spin and
its red and gold is dressed

As summer ends
      skies of aqua fly
gilded scenes of sun play out their run
sweet memories confessed

This is so beautiful Mike. I enjoy reading your poetry. I am not sure summer ever arrived here this year..lol. We had 50's in July and now 60's today in August. Happy Saturday :)
