As If We Never Said Goodbye

Charcoal brush adorning sparkling bristles of love
weaves patterns on canvas of blank memory
flashing waves entrancing visions of kisses alight
blankets of amnesia in existence but he paints
hustling vintage platform emerging from mists
breeze in lover's red shirt chasing scarlet sunsets
he boards a crimson wagon longing for a goodbye

A plaintive cry from a yearning heart, Aditi. I always look forward to your imagery that is not just creative but remains in the heart. Congratulations!

A lovely romantic write, Aditi. I love your sprinkling in gentle hints of painting: bristles, charcoal, canvas, paint. You have inspired me to try doing something of the like. More fabulous poetry from your platinum pen, I can't seem to get enough! You are a blessing, my friend ~ John
