As If She Knew Me

It was back in college
when we first met
                  and everything went on.

The face so pious
                   the smile so pure,
the words compassionate,
                   was enough to lure.

Days and night
               she gripped my mind,
and adorned my thoughts,
like the world is to a blind.

I picked up habits
                i was not acquaint,
like waking up all night,
                and singing in the rain.

The days went by
                the love grew stronger,
was lookking for ways,
                 to assuage my hunger.
