As I Quietly Cry

Time passes on as days go by,
Oblivious and anxious at the same time,
Feelings whirling and tumbling,
Watching my heart soar so high...

How the darkness hides my tears
as I quietly begin to cry
the love I feel for you
is now falling from my eyes

I wait
to feel your hand in mine
to touch your face
to sit warmly wrapped
in your arms...
To share the stars

Like a thief in the night
unexpectedly you robbed me
Stole my heart without a peep
I thank you for being so silent
My heart you shall have and forever keep
