As a Kid

Life as a child was fairly easy for me
there was Mum Dad and me made three
Dad was a carpenter working with wood
Mum stayed at home cleaning, preparing the food
Both parents were good in their own special way
Mum would encourage, Dad always willing to play
They gave me the best that they could afford
no flash clothes toys nor holidays abroad
but the one thing I got each and every day
was the love of two people
                                What more can I say...
