ARTIST

                                              “ ARTIST “

HOW DO I PAINT THIS PICTURE WHAT COLORS SHOULD I USE
I HEAR ALL THE OPINIONS WATCH WHAT’S ON THE NEWS
ALL I WANT IS TRUTH BUT I DON’T KNOW WHERE TO LOOK
DOES IT LIE IN AN ANCIENT SCRIPTURE OR IN SOME LONELY BOOK
I HOLD THE SPECTRUM OF COLORS LOSELY IN MY HAND
BUT IT’S HARD TO PAINT WHAT YOU DON’T UNDERSTAND
WHAT COLOR SEEMS RIGHT OR IS THAT SHADE ALL WRONG
DON’T WANT TO USE A COLOR THAT DOES NOT BELONG
MAYBE I WON’T PAINT AT ALL I’LL LEAVE IT UP TO YOU
THEN YOU CAN MAKE IT LOOK THE WAY YOU WANT IT TO
