This is very clever. Is he a poet on Soup? I love how you invent forms, I hope you invent one called something like "rhodanta". I enjoyed reading this. Poetry hugs ... CayCay

Rhoda, I'm still dazzled by all the brilliant forms of poetry on here. And yours is no exception. I always thought poems rhymed , how wrong was I. I must say though, I enjoy researching a topic and putting it to rhyme. I researched the Spanish flu, what a tragedy for mankind that was.( its on here) Hope all's well. Tom.

Thank you so much, Tom for your kind comment. Regarding the Spanish flu, I'd never heard anything about it until my daughter read (unfortunately only one paragraph) in her history book. After further reading, her and I went to visit cemeteries and we were so saddened. Tombstones in 1918 of children, young adults...such a tragedy. Thank you for fulfilling my request. I'm thankful you helped to immortalize that piece of our world's history. Maybe bringing it to the forefront will help prevent it from ever happening again.
