Arrives the Spring

Arrives the spring
Anacreontic verse 3






Allure of raindrops 
as drizzle knocks,
April arrives ...
Ecstatic Spring 
ushers joy,
Buds bloom
petals unfold,
Vibrant colours
eyes behold,
Mustard in yellow
wheat gives gold, 

Fragrant breeze 
to lovers' delight,
Heavenly azure
and soaring flight,
Reigning blue
echoes into sea,

Festivals lure
delicacies to relish,
Step into May
with blushing
Red roses,
Luscious Mangoes
enticing delish,
Basking days
evenings coldish,
Verve satiates 
soul's every wish!
