Army Man
You went to war when you were young
I'm sure people thought what has he done
And when your plane came under fire
I'm sure being back home was your greatest desire
You landed in one piece safe and sound
But that was the easy part I'm sure you found
Your friends at home were out haven fun
While you were nestling in a bunker clasping a gun
The battle of the tunnel is a story still told
Even in the papers the story was sold
You made it home and a big family was had
There's no doubt that were all glad
My dad my hero the man of the hour
There's no underestimating this man's power
Hopefully it won't take another year
Before we get out and have a beer
