Arizona

a place of beauty
         under the sun
                now a stupid law
                        what have they done.

past pioneers wouldn't of been welcomed here.

our founding fathers would find this to be a bother.

words to a state way to choose anothers fate.

23 years ago here I came never wanting to leave wish I felt the same.

to set blame on all of those with a spanish name.

what about all the others here
        having to carry your papers
                visiting in fear
                      living....here.

I love all the different people in this state now they put more on our plate.

all sins do not come from one race
yet you say it is so
if we were next to another country
would we blame them for what isn't so?

just wanted to say here I live but it's in their way...peace to all colors world wide.

Great write about prejudous minds...There are good and bad people in all races...We can't let some that do wrong define a whole race...Keep the creative pen flowing..Thanks for stopping by and commenting on my write...I am glad that you visit your mother's grave and show respect for her that tells much about a person...I go to my adoptive parents graves several times a year to see if they need tending...Sara
