Arising At the Dawning

Arising at the dawning of the newborn day,
When morning sun shines brightly in the east.
Begin your day with humble gratitude and pray,
Arising at the dawning of the newborn day
That hate and bigotry will forever go away,
That love for family and friends will be increased.
Arising at the dawning of the newborn day,
When morning sun shines brightly in the east.

This is refreshing and has a great feeling of newness attached to it.

Beautiful write, Milt. Each morn I face Pikes Peak from my dining room window and recite: "I lift my eyes up to the hills; Whence cometh my strength, God? It come from You the Maker of all things" - and also from Phil 4: 13 "I can do all things thru You Who gives me strength" Sorta gives me courage to face the day. Bob
