Notes About The Poem

For everyone's information, I believe in God, but the assignment is to make an argument for miracles, writing this for someone who does not believe in God.

Argument For Miracles

That our big splendid world, so complex,

is yet well-designed and organized

is a wonder to me, whether we evolved from one cell or not!

It's a miracle people remain civilized!


By Webster's definition, one meaning of miracle is

an event with a very high improbability.

Another is "a product or achievment amazing."

Even were there no God, there are samples of these two and plenty!

I loved it when that dear mother turned around and asked the crowd to pray for her small son who had been thrown over the balcony at the mall by a madman. He lived and will be okay. It was three stories high. Prayer is of itself a miracle! Lovely Andrea. I hope you get more members reading this. xxoo

I do not think I ever won a single contest with the sponsor of this contest so it would be a miracle if this got on his list! Anyway, you know me, I take on as many challenges as I can. I think it is ludicrous for people not to believe there is SOMETHING miraculous about life!! OMG. It boggles my mind that a person cannot see all the examples of miracles even right now in this modern world!!
