Arguing With The Night Closing my eyes I bit my upper lip drew my knees chest high and held them tight drank the dreaded potions final sip slow dimming an ever fading light fluttering eyelids arguing with the night. ©7/30/2017 submitted to – The Sound Of Pages In The Night – Poetry Contest
