Are You Watching

There's a break in the clouds
    and I wonder, Lord,
        is it there for you to peek through?

To watch "oer Your children
    all over the world,
        veiwing all things that they do?

Then of a sudden
    the clouds close up,
        and softly the rain starts to fall.

And I wonder, Lord
    is it tears that you shed,
        from grief that is caused by us all?

Dear Lord, I feel
    such wrenching remorse,
        for the times that I've gone astray.

Lord, I ask you, please
    will you forgive me
        if I've cause any grief today?
