Are You Ready

The Messiah is coming, the man’s sign it said.
Painted in letters so bold, and colored in red.
He’s coming soon he said repent your sin.
We’re gonna see Jesus, the Masters coming again.
He handed me a paper, he said please read and sign.
To see if you measure up, who’s next in line?
The questions he asked were quite simple and plain.
Have you ever in life taken the Lords name in vain?
Have you ever fussed at your mother, or got angry at your paw?
Or envied something of your neighbors, you just broke His law!
God gave us all a list that will keep us straight.
They’re His Commandments and there isn’t an expiration date.
This is to those who have slipped or maybe simply fallen away.
Repent your sins, and with a humble heart turn to God and pray.
Tell Him, Lord I am a sinner and I want to confess.
Lord I know you died for me and I am such a mess.
I know You arose from Your tomb, and you’re dead no more.
For You ascended to the Father, back to Gods golden shore.
When Jesus returns and we see Him again?
Or you gonna run and hide, or will He call you friend?
