Are You Ready

Salvation came to the earth
In the form of a baby boy
Born that first Christmas day
That the world might experience joy.

A picture of His Father in Heaven
He showed the world as He grew,
And brought love and compassion
To all, not just a few.

To fulfill God's plan of redemption,
He gave His life on a cross,
Dying and then rising again
To make eternal life available to us.

Now He's coming back soon
To take God's children by His side.
As we celebrate His birth this Christmas,
He asks, "Are you ready to be my bride?"
