Are You Gone Forever?
I have so many things I want to say to you
I miss what we had
You wanted another try and then took it back.
My world is out of control and you were the only one who could ever fix it.
You knew what to say to put a smile on my face, to make my troubles cease
Now there is no one
I doubt I will ever get back what I lost.
Not a day goes by when you don’t cross my mind
He’s here, but it’s silent
We’re together, but I’m still alone
I was scared of what we had
Scared at how much you cared
You were what I wanted for so long but let walk away when I had it
I hope you’re happy now
I get by from day to day
