Are we really Brave

Do you get that feeling that you just can not shake?

Do you stop and wonder if you have made a mistake?

Do you walk faster in the dark on your way home?

Do you think you hear foot steps and your not alone?

Do you imagine people talk about you in the street?

And are you suspicious of strangers you might meet?

Will you ring a friend on your mobile phone?

Just to feel safe and your not alone

Do you get frightened in a dark strange place?

Do you think your being followed and pick up your pace?

You see to our imagination our mind is a slave

On the inside we are scared but we pretend we are brave.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.

Often, yes. It's reinforced by the frightening terrors that seem increase around those who are alone.
