Are We Ready

Are we ready?

The Apple hangs from the tree gently swinging
The way I see in your eyes is Life keeping
The Butterfly flies as young are still sleeping
The Elephant smiles as the trees are softly singing
The corn fields are vast in the winds they are swimming
The Sea looks like blue glass when nothing is moving
The time drifts right past and the silence is soothing
The human treads a path and I hope someone is watching
The Apple drops at last and is ripe enough for eating

Enjoyable poem and like the progression and sudden ending to bring us back to the now.
