Archenemy

I trust you as much as I would a liar
Or a man who creates awful fires
I‘ve determined that you hate me
Not wanting to let me be safe and free
You offend me as would a dead flower
Put on my grave by any false power
I regret that you cause problems and woes
And at our solutions just turn up your nose
We are far apart like the north and south poles
You have pipe dreams while I have real goals
Please go away and let the people alone
Peace will only come when you are gone

Polarization seems to be the order of the day.... Cheers, Doug.
