ARBOREAL TRIPTYCH

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ roots drink midnight's spilled ink— oak becomes a scribe. maple bleeds October into the river's cupped hands. bare birch bones etch winter's breath on the sky's parchment.
Dear Sara, this triptych is gorgeous! The metaphors are so sharp. I especially love the image of the oak becoming a scribe after drinking "midnight's spilled ink." It’s a beautifully powerful and visual way to capture the changing seasons. Amazing work! Autumn Blessings, Dear Sara, Daniel
