Aquamarine

I wonder what's the color of ocean
sometimes a hypnotic dazzle of blue
sometimes turquoise green in frisky motion
shadow of grey clouds, yet another hue
dawn sprinkles silver in majestic view
 Hold me, O mystified Aquamarine
both chaos and calm, a cosmos serene
high and low tides, dual of fear and peace
A small part of you, I have always been
in your salty waters I cry...tears cease.

Beautiful how you’ve pondered and got readers too to, through your exquisite word weaving: i love the opening lines and also how you’ve rhymed here in such a mellifluous rhythm is captivating! Brilliant take on the prompt. Thank you for writing. Congratulations
