Notes About The Poem

April's Pink Moon

April's Pink Moon lures the rain king, from a storm to a gentle squall; She is the reason robins sing. Orchestrating the birth of spring life's obedient to Her call; She is the reason robins sing. Reflecting the light sunbeams bring She morphs into a bright pink ball; orchestrating the birth of spring. She glows, within, a golden ring, and beams Her gentle light to all; She is the reason robins sing. She comes when icicles still cling and snow covers the death of fall, orchestrating the birth of spring. In a midnight sky, She's everything wearing misty drops like a shawl. April's Pink Moon lures the rain king She is the reason; robins sing. (Villanelle) 9/25/2017

Thank you so much Darlene, a pick moon or even a blood moon are not that rare, I guess it depends on where you are located and the time of year, your comments and support are most welcome my friend, Emile
