April Wind

April wind, my dear friend I cannot find solace Without you Invade my solitude Stay awhile and let me feel you On my mind, body, and soul Bear testimony to the lingering ache Still swirling deep in my heart Take it with you Blow off sawdusts of recurring pain All traces and hues of it Whisper a soothing symphony Whistle it softly into my ear To lift this melancholy veil To make this grief wound of mine That is fresh and still bleeds Close sooner than later Date written and posted: 04/09/2017
