Notes About The Poem

Appreciating Ourselves

                     11/10/2023

When you have thoughts that bring might you down,
Remember, please do, The Almighty, made no clowns!

Appreciate whatever, any and all things you can do!
Do not compare yourself to another, it’s a day you will rue.

Know that you are special as the bright star in the autumnal sky.
See the divine in others, and in you, and not once ask why?

Neither compare yourself th a single other.
We all are part of the sams family, human sisters and brothers!

Ohhh, this poem makes one feel good all over. Thanks for putting such important, yet so simple, thoughts in a poem to help shine the light. It's hard to remember your wisdom, so seeing it helps, indeed!

Thank you, dear David, comparing is poison to the soul.. realizing we are a gift to others, in our own way, works for me.Evem if others disagree with us, being our unique selves is first, selling out to be popular, or loved, is poison. I don’t think of myself as wise. But, thank you for so saying, I constantly question myself. Pangie xxxx
