Apocalyptic Dreams

I slipped into a slumbered haze,
I drifted into nocturnal daze,
Everything seemed in perfect place

A frigid breeze blew through the air
Time was neither here nor there
I strolled down to the bus stop

Across the bridge, a cloud appeared
And all it touched, they disappeared
Now all I see is scarlet sky

Tucked behind a wall, I hid
All the townspeople, the fire rid
Death flooded the streets

Corpses lay throughout my path
As I journeyed aimlessly throughout the wrath
I hear the sirens pass

Cadavers raining from the roofs
Witness to disastrous truth
Apocalypse is nigh

Most of our dreams come all together in the sense, their is a message that is in it for us to beware and to pay attention to a event that shall happen.. thank you for sharing Ellie Harriet (Derena)

*This poem was inspired by a disturbingly vivid dream I had about the apocalypse.
