Apathy The smell of death is in the air Violence and destruction loom everywhere The earth quakes with fire and fear Why don’t I care? Power and greed corrupt the spirit Those who rule,enslave the mind People rush like they are running out of time Why don’t I care? Freedom and justice are dead everywhere Our rights are suspended and tossed in the air Prisons become homes for the forgotten Humanity has become totality rotten Why don’t I care?
