In the darkness
Call my name
speak loudly
without any shame
I think of you
many times a day
the memories flood
and I have nothing to say
the distance between
does no good, just hurt
I miss your eyes
with that little smirk
you brought life back
to me after so long
you did everything right
with not a single drop of wrong
our lives divert
take us in 2 directions
we drift apart
which is what I was expecting
come back to me
and open my eyes
make me smile
and stop all my cries
you are the exact thing
I've looked for such a great time
when i left you
it felt more like a crime
I still think of you
more than you will know
the words from heaven
and your sweet glow
keep me deep inside
in the depths of your heart
this isn't the end
only the start
