Apart
And I forget it all
with my back up against this wall
I don't know where to start
to pick up the pieces from when we fell apart
I've got my eyes trained on you
down the barrel of this gun
it may not be real
but I pull the trigger just for fun
I can see the look on your face
as the bullet enters your chest
that look of disgrace
this is how we play games in the old west
And I forget it all
with my back up against this wall
I don't know where to start
to pick up the pieces of this shattered heart
you shout and you scream
and I pretend to listen
you threaten that you'll leave
as if that will get me in submission
I hold this toy gun
ready to fire
the bullets won't do much
but they'll prove you a liar
as you fall to the ground
so melodramatic
the blood covers the floor
a world monochromatic
and I forget it all
with my back up against this wall
I don't know where to start
to pick up the peices from when I ripped you apart
it seems you were telling the truth all along
but I feel no remorse
if you won't give me the answer
I'll take it by force
you leave me one more time
and you’ll never come back
because slaughter with words isn't a crime
and baby that's a fact
you've got no more leverage
and your mouth starts to hemorrhage
the lies keep pouring out
and still you spout
more and more and more
until I slam the door
you're never coming back
you'll never come back
you're gone
