Anxiety and Fear

In the morning, when I awake
I hope it is a day that I won't shake
With fear
Oh Dear!

I have to make myself get out of bed
A thing I dread to do
I fear
Oh Dear!

Why can't I address this mess?
What's happening in my mind and brain
Am I insane? nothing is clear
I fear
Oh Dear!

The slightest noise disturbs my thoughts.
And scrambles my now useless brain.
Any poise that I may have had
Will not come back again
I fear
Oh Dear

I feel I am in a haze of misery and doubt
I have lost my way in a giant maze
And there is no way out
Everything looks drear
I fear
Oh Dear!
