Antidepressant
My savior takes form of a tablet that I swallow each day.
She keeps me comfortably numb and my despondency at bay.
Hail Mary full of grace, if grace comes in a pill.
Blessed be the womb to the mother of psychosis,
may my neurons bend to her will.
Who says happiness can’t be bought?
Because it certainly can be sold.
For sell at your local pharmacy,
discarding sorrow
Glory be to Prozac, hallowed be they name.
Take this melancholy away from me,
so I can acquire peace once again.
